An old page. When I was first coming up with "Opey the Warhead", I had a lot of false starts. That is, I'd come up with a lot of pages that I thought was going to be the first page of the comic series but they never seemed to gel. This page was one of those false starts, opening up with the ruins of "Adam City", Opey's little hometown.
After producing several full pages that would prove to be false starts, it eventually sank into my corpulent cranium to write out the first issue as a script and, when I've got that nailed down, draw it. I learn...eventually.
The woman's face in the second panel does have one crooked eye. Um...the statue was made by Picasso...yeah...that's the ticket.
