Here's a piece that I've been working on and off again, for quite a long time now. I've just recently got around to finishing it.
It's a drawing that summarizes how I feel sometimes, in terms of me and my dreams of being a paid illustrator, cartoonist, or comic book artist (me being the little kid, of course).
The time and effort you put into this piece really shows - it's amazing! The detail is just.. wow. The reflection of the driver in the car mirror.. the details on the church and the car pile-up.. just really sends it over the top. Something else I really love is that you made the strokes darker on the girl and monster and left a little bit of white area around them - they really stand out! Did you use any references for the cars or anything?
Wow!...this time you exceeded yourself with the level of detail ...the car destruction is really good...all the debris twisted metal and glass...the shades are all great and the creature design too...the hard strokes are at is best too...man good job!! goes to faves!

Thanks, Nic (for the words and the fave). I have no idea what that giant creature is, either, but it represents those seemingly insurmountable odds we have to overcome...with a lamp post.
