This is the first page of the fourth issue of the comic book I'm working on called "Anyone But Virginia". The script is by my compadre, the great Josh Eiserike. These are pencil sketches and not the finalized version.
Here we see two of the main characters of the story, in a flashback. In the first panel, Keith is cleaning out the spit out of his trumpet.
Guess which decade this part of the story takes place?
Late 80s/early 90s? I spotted a couple of typos:
"Says the dude..." and "hygiene".
As for the design, a classic Zac Crockett with great attention to details (instruments, posters on the walls, games console) and accuracy of said details, the story (or extract of) however short it may be is intriguing and inviting enough to want to know more.
I really appreciate your critique about the page. This page is actually the pencils of the page and not the final inked version (like in the "Opey" pages). I just added the borders and dialogue to make the page more readable. I didn't make that clear in my comments and have since changed it. Perhaps it belongs in scraps rather than in my main gallery, since it's not finished.

Its not as detailed/clean/polished as I've seen you do. I'd have expected better. You're really good. It seems like you rushed through it to me.
