Aria Hibiki

In my comic "Opey the Warhead", Aria, like the comic itself, went through a million versions before becoming the one seen here on Deviantart. I think I went through every age, ethnicity, and hair color you can think of.

Here's an early version of the page where she's introducing herself to the class for the first time. This version had her as an Asian. In the final version of the comic, she's a blond Caucasian with Asian parents.

As you can see, all the characters in the comic went through several design changes. The teacher wore some strange visor, like Geordi La Forge from Star Trek and Joey looked radically different from the final version, well, except the hair. But good ol' Opey's design was settled almost from the get-go.
