This is a tribute to one of my favorite episodes of the third series of "Doctor Who" called "Dream Girl".
It was the second part to the previous episode "The Nightmare Menace", where the Doctor traveled to London circa 2370 A.D. and found there that the main source of entertainment were television game shows beamed into people's dreams. There was an entire television network comprised of people's dreams (these people were attached collectively to a machine that functioned like the internet). In that particular episode, the Doctor had to enter a collective world of people's interconnecting dreams to rescue his companion, Martha Jones, from a "renegade nightmare" that had existed in mankind's subconscious for tens of thousands of years. That episode ended with the Doctor defeating the nightmare, but ends up finding himself mysteriously plucked up into modern day England.
In "Dream Girl", he finds no trace of the TARDIS or Martha Jones, but, rather, he's married to a talented French writer named Celine. He has a daughter named Lilith Susan and two cats. He finds himself with the perfect home and family on the outskirts of Cardiff, and that his physiology is completely human.
Initially startled, the Doctor settles into his life, finally finding peace with that human species he's always had a fondness for. Strangely, though, the Doctor keeps having unusual visions, seeing Martha Jones and the TARDIS, the latter's layout, circuitry, and control mechanisms.
Suspicious, the Doctor begins to doubt the existence of his surroundings, even while his lovely wife Celine worries about his mental health. She convinces the Doctor to visit her family doctor, who also happens to be an uncle. However, while the Doctor stays at the family doctor's house, he finds the visions increase in frequency and intensity, and that the house he's staying in keeps changing in small details (the wallpaper of a room changes, a window to his room disappears). Furthermore, the uncle seems to be very interested and inquisitive about the Doctor's descriptions of the TARDIS.
The Doctor then figures it out; he's still in the dream world he was in "The Nightmare Menace". He decides to confront the uncle about the whole charade and demands to know what's going on.
It is that particular scene I've recreated here. The Doctor steps into the family doctor's living room (with the Doctor's wife, Celine, and child in tow) and discovers that the uncle is none other than a disguised Cyberman, intent on learning from the Doctor on how to access and operate the TARDIS! It turns out the Cybermen have tapped into the Doctor's subconscious while he was in the collective dream world, and were trying to fool him into revealing the secrets of the TARDIS!

Okay, I'm fooling no one. This is actually my birthday gift to Celine aka FunkyLilith ( ). She has on her shoutboard in her profile a stamp stating "One Day I will Marry David Tennant" (the actor who plays the 10th Doctor). So, I depicted her here married to the Doctor as sort of a birthday present. I hope I captured her likeness and that my gift isn't too weird or out there. I just wanted to do something unique for her. She's a wonderful writer and a great friend.
Happy Birthday, Celine. I hope my gift doesn't suck.

I downloaded that art because the graphic balance was really nice and it looked so commercial, like it could have come of off a promo card for a new tv series.
