For Johnathon

A dear good friend of mine named Johnathon is going through a rough patch of late. Johnathon is the kind of guy who invites you to visit his home in another state, pays for the trip there, feeds you, and shows you around the city. Johnathon, along with his wonderful wife, Jane, did all these things for me recently, without asking anything in return.

Johnathon and I go back to our junior high days and were (and still are) the best of friends, which is why I'm rooting for the guy. He's been in tough spots before and I have no doubt he'll triumph again.

This is a drawing of characters from a story he's working on. I won't say what the story is about or who the characters are, as they're all tentative. He's in the early stages of his story and, though he's worked out the character's bios, I haven't seen them, so these are very, very loose interpretations of his characters. I can say, however, the girl in the middle is in deep, deep trouble.
