After a long hiatus, Penny is back. Here is the seventeenth installment of the misadventures of the orphan and her troubles with a mischievous cat.
Prior to this strip, I had enormous artist's block, but Penny showed up and gave me one large kick in the bottom, demanding the next comic strip to be made. This little seven year old scares me, so, what could I do?
My cat Rufus does do stuff like that, like bullying his sister under my nose and, when reprimanded, looks at me as if butter wouldn't melt. I can't stay angry with him for more than five minutes, it is virtually impossible to not go "awwww" when you look at him! He's a charmer and he knows it too!
Hello!
Haha! The expressions on Penny's and the policeman's faces are priceless, you're just getting better at making them, and they look a lot simpler at the same time. Maybe it goes to show that there is no need for complicating something simple. Like James said: ride the wave! And thanks, Penny, for kicking Zac in the backside!

I love this. XD The innocent/cute face the cat makes in panel 4 had me laughing. I've learned to NEVER fall for the cute look.
I love panel 5 the best, though.
