Penny Versus the Tornado

This page is a part of an idea I've been having for a "Pennies from Heaven" comic book. Penny, in this version, is more realistic than the one in the comic strip. This page also builds off of the wind effects I used in "White Jade".

There's a boring anecdote attached to this page. When I was a kid, I heard a weatherman once use the phrase the "eye of the storm". Baffled, I asked my mother if tornadoes literally had eyes in their center. Doing what most parents do to their kids, she messed with my little childish brain, telling me "yes". Although I know a little more than then, the idea always stuck with me that tornado's have these evil eyes in their center that they use to scour over the countryside, looking for unwitting mobile homes to obliterate.

Here, I have Penny fighting a malevolent tornado, that's a bit surprised to see the girl is impervious to it's damaging effects. Whether I'll do more pages or run with this idea, I'm not sure.
