Issue #3 of "Opey the Warhead" has been completed, seen here in one group.  Scroll down below to learn about the "Opey Collection" (which includes a never before bonus story), coming soon.

Opey Collection

I'm thinking of putting together a collection of the first three issues into one bound volume.  The collection will also include a short story that will be found nowhere else but in this collection.  The story details a little why Joey, Opey's only friend, is so interested in Opey and what he's been up to while the events of Issue #3 took place.

I'm not sure if anybody's interested in purchasing such a volume, or how many I should print up (I'll be using the "Ka-Blam"  self-publishing company to create this small run of Opey graphic novels).  Any takers?

Also, regarding Issue #4, I do have an idea as to what it will contain (as you can see in the preview in Issue #3 and by the cover for Issue #4).  If I do an Issue #4, I'll have to write up the script outline first, however.

Definitely a must-buy. Tons better than most of the indie stuff in print (better artwork too).

And really, self-publishing works - look at "The Goon" (although that was after the initial avatar miniseries so he had some name recognition).

Wow! Thanks for the props! I appreciate it to no end. I'm not sure what the price will be or how many to print up. Ah well, I'll find out when I've finished the short story that will be included with the collection.

It is great to hear that you are getting around to publishing a hardcopy version of OPEY. Can't wait to see it.

Great. Where will I be able to find it? And, can I use Pay-Pal?

I'll post details in my journal when the collection is available for purchase. I probably will use paypal for the transactions, though.

Good to know. I can't wait to get Opey in a hardcopy format. How many copies are you thinking about having Ka-Blam do?
