I'm grateful for all the support you've given me in my last journal. It was very humbling.
I'm proud to announce that "Opey the Warhead" is being published in Italy by ProGlo Ediozini: [link]
It's going to be translated into Italian and feature the first four issues of a certain knuckle-headed nuclear numbskull. I'm also honored that it's going to have a foreword by
, an artist whose work I deeply admire. I'd love to give a special shout-out to Pino Rinaldi, as he arranged the whole deal. Without him, and the editors at ProGlo Ediozini, this would never have happened. This will be the first time Opey has been published officially. It should be out in a month or two in Italy.
I haven't had much time in a while to work on Opey, which has caused me some heartache, as it's my baby. I have to pay the bills, though, so I can't work on the comic as often as I like. I'm thrilled to see the comic in print, though, and I'm excited to be with ProGlo Ediozini. It's something special to see something you worked so long and hard on to be recognized.
Take care. UPDATE (9/24/2012)
is holding a kickstarter for his comic "The Oswald Chronicles". It's a magnificently crafted work, from
's sumptuous artwork to
's epic prose. I highly recommend it. Please contribute here: [link]
